This is the list of modifications so far...

  • Rebuilt 1275cc series A Engine - 106 ft/lbs torque @ 4500rpm & 120bhp @ 7000rpm!

    • now worked to 1360cc

    • reshaped and polished chambers and ports

    • compression ratio 10.3:1

    • dynamically balanced crankshaft, flywheel and clutch pressure plate

    • block rear seal area repaired and line bored

    • ARP rod bolts, flywheel bolts and head studs

    • Titan roller rockers

    • RE13/105 camshaft

    • large 7.5" clutch

    • lightened flywheel

    • 43D4 distributor and Pertronix Ignitor kit

  • Fuel catalyst - enables running of engine on premium unleaded fuel without further engine modification

  • RE5 inlet manifold with Weber 45 DCOE and K&N air filter

  • Ceramic coated mandrel bent long centre branch extractors

  • New silencer and muffler - the old one set alarms off and deafened the dog

  • Braided oil cooler hoses

  • Braided brake hoses

  • New fuel tank - an enormous 25 litres!

  • Carbon fibre bonnet

  • New customised wiring loom

  • High intensity headlights

  • High intensity LED roll-bar mounted brake light

  • New alternator

  • 8 way fuse bank and relays - easy to install and has to be safer.

  • Air horns

  • Rebuilt brake and clutch master cylinder

  • Drilled and slotted brake discs and "Greenstuff" pads

  • Telescopic rear suspension kit

  • Anti-sway bar

  • 3.9:1 clutch-type limited slip differential

  • Minator wheels & Bridgestone Turanza ER 592 175/70R13 tyres

  • Dashboard re-covered and reconditioned instruments

  • New marine grade carpets

  • Re-upholstered seats, new roof and tonneau all made from same length of vinyl
